Financial Help
There are various places where you can receive help to fund your dental qualification. The rules and eligibility often change, so if you have any financial queries, your first point of call should be the Advice and Counselling service at Queen Mary who can provide up to date information and advice about financial issues.

The NHS bursary scheme provides information about some of the funding available to dental students.

There are various prizes which you can apply for during your time at dental school. Some of these are allocated by the dental school for high achievement and others are given on merit for writing essays and reports etc.

If you join the Armed Forces, you can receive pay whilst you study, providing you work for them for a certain number of years post graduation.

When you start Vocational Training or Dental Foundation Training, this will be paid employment, so no extra funding should be necessary.
